Teesside is innovative with excellent teaching, and a diverse culture putting students at the heart of everything.

Lessons are conducted in lecture rooms as well as industry-standard labs which give us practical hands-on experience and learning. Every session is different and thoroughly engaging, and the staff are very supportive.

The course is excellent. I enjoyed the individual study aspect of the course.

There is a mixture of classroom sessions and practical exercises designed to put you in real life scenarios that you work your way through.

Practical experience and placements were key components in my first year. I have also learnt the theory of patient-centred care – where everyone should be treated individually, putting the patient first.

The staff are excellent and pushed me to do my best and they give you their unconditional support.

I was a bit nervous about coming as an international student initially, but Teesside has a good mix of cultures which made me more comfortable.

The tutors were very encouraging and always there to support me to create work that felt true to my values and creative voice.

The interdisciplinary nature of the course ensures that each student attains their individual learning outcome.

This combination appealed to me as it aligns perfectly with my career aspirations.
